Privacy Policy

Effective October 12, 2026. Arrivelux operates the online store at arrivelux.com. This policy explains, in plain terms, what personal information we collect when you browse or order, why we hold it, who else sees it, and what you can ask us to do with it. It applies to everything on this site.

1. The information we hold

Most of what we hold you gave us yourself, in order to be sent a parcel:

• Contact details — your name, email address, telephone number, and the shipping and billing addresses attached to an order.
• Order records — the items bought, the history of your account, and any messages exchanged with customer support.
• Technical data — IP address, browser and device type, device identifiers, the pages viewed on this site, the page that referred you, and the time of each visit.

We ask for nothing that an order does not require, and we will never ask you for a card number by email or over the telephone.

2. Payment data

Card payments are taken by Shopify Payments over an encrypted connection and handled under PCI-DSS rules. Full card numbers and payment credentials are never written to our servers; what comes back to us is confirmation that a payment succeeded, along with the few digits needed to identify the transaction if a refund becomes necessary.

3. Why we use it

• To take, pack, ship, track, return and refund your orders.
• To answer your questions and sort out problems.
• To detect and prevent fraudulent or unauthorised transactions.
• To understand which parts of the site work and to improve the ones that do not.
• To meet tax, accounting and other legal obligations.
• To send promotional email — only if you asked for it, and only until you ask us to stop.

4. Who else sees it

Your information is shared with third-party service providers only where running the shop requires it, and only the part of it they need:

• Our e-commerce platform, which hosts the storefront and the order records.
• The payment processor, to take payments and issue refunds.
• Shipping carriers, who need a name and an address to deliver a parcel.
• Analytics providers, who receive usage data about the site.

We may also disclose information where a law, a regulation, a court order or a legal process requires it, or where it is necessary to protect our rights, our property or someone's safety. We do not sell, rent or trade personal information to anyone for marketing purposes.

5. Cookies and similar technologies

This site sets cookies to keep a cart working from page to page, remember your preferences and measure traffic. Your browser settings control them and can block or delete them whenever you like; be aware that parts of the site, the cart in particular, may stop behaving properly if you do.

6. How long we keep it

Order and contact records are kept for as long as they are needed to fulfil the order, support you afterwards, satisfy accounting and tax requirements and resolve any dispute. After that they are securely deleted or anonymised. Marketing contacts are removed as soon as you unsubscribe.

7. Security

We apply administrative, technical and physical safeguards to the information we hold, and traffic between your browser and this site is encrypted with SSL/TLS. No system is perfectly secure and we cannot promise absolute security, but we can promise that your card details are not sitting on our servers waiting to be lost.

8. Your choices and rights

You may ask us to show you the personal information we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it. You may unsubscribe from marketing email at any moment, either from the link inside the message or by writing to us. Send any of these requests to support@arrivelux.com and we will act on them.

9. Your rights under Canadian privacy law

We treat personal information in line with the Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). We collect it with your consent, for the purposes described in this policy, and you may withdraw your consent at any time, subject to legal and contractual limits; without the details an order needs, we cannot fulfil it. You may ask to see the personal information we hold about you and have it corrected. If you are unhappy with how we handle a request, you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

10. Where the information is kept, and children

Arrivelux is operated by a company based in the United States. Your personal information is therefore stored and processed in the United States, by us and by the service providers listed above, where it may be accessed by courts, law enforcement and national security authorities under United States law. By placing an order you consent to that transfer.

This shop is intended for adults and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from minors, and if you believe a child has sent us any, contact us and we will delete it promptly.

11. Changes to this policy

This policy may be updated from time to time. The current version always sits on this page with its effective date at the top, and continuing to use arrivelux.com after a change is published means the revised policy applies to you.
